Bio Medical
Biomedical engineering (BME) is the application of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and biology for healthcare purposes (e.g. diagnostic or therapeutic).
Bioengineers work with doctors, therapists, and researchers to develop systems, equipment, and devices to solve clinical problems.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair and Maintenance
- Preventive maintenance
- Calibrations in-house, coordinating for external calibration and quality assessment.
- Pre-installation work for new instruments and projects
- Installation of equipment
- Training programs
- Government Licensing.
- Support in technical specification
BENEFITS OF BIOMEDICAL
- 24 Hours support for repair and maintenance
- Coordinating with service engineers to minimize breakdown time
- Making in-house spare inventory to minimize downtime
- Third-party coordination for subsidized rate, equipment spares parts and accessories
- Technical support with the purchasing department during any purchase
- Regular calibration,PM, QA(quality assessment), help for smooth operations
- Hand-on training to running user for biomedical equipment when:
-
-
- new equipment installed
- new nurse joining
- internal shifting of nurses
-
